Peek at Our Week!

Next week we will start working on Informational Writing, which will carry through the next few months.  We will also introduce stamping in our math stations, and a new CVC game in our literacy stations!  Click on the images to download the lesson plans with links!

All In Good Time... and a freebie!

I posted new fall math and literacy stations, but I didn't get around to posting it here.  My kiddos LOVE the number writing on and all the write the room activities included in it!

and since it took so long for me to post it....and my littles think these games are fabulous, here's a Thanksgiving FREEBIE!  It's just like my other fluency CVC games, but with a crazy turkey twist!

Enjoy!

Oldies, but Goodies!

Hello.  My name is Erin and I'm a slacker blogger.  Ok, I said it.  Now on to the better part of the post - makeovers!  I've been meaning to give a few products a face lift, and I finally did it!  To celebrate, all of the products in my store are 20% off through Tuesday!

Back in the Saddle Again...

I seem to have fallen off the blogging wagon for a while, but I hope to be back for good.  I don't know about you, but as my munchkins have been getting the hang of procedures and routines, I feel like I'm in a race to keep up with their needs.  I put together this pack as a quick "go to" for differentiated activities this month.  I hope you find it helpful!

In the Home Stretch!

The end of the year is in sight, as well as the end of my grad school experience...can I get a HALLELUJAH!  I find myself most excited to be done with my coursework so that I can focus on and enjoy my little kinders for our last five weeks.  It hit me this week how much we have grown together this year, and how much I will miss them when they "grow up."

Anyway, mopey feelings aside, I'm excited to get a jump on next year with writing and math.  Have you seen mrswillskindergarten.com ?  She has some amazing resources for writing that I LOVE!  Although we have a math program at our school I am really excited about her math workshop pack for the upcoming school year!  This year we struggled providing effective and engaging activities to accompany our math program, but Deedee and Deanna have created such a wonderful resource that will support it well (as well as plug holes where the program is weak)!  Hop over to her blog to check it out - did I mention she has a giveaway?

Punch It - Math!

What to do when it's cold and rainy/snowy outside?  Make a math pack for the YEAR!  Last weekend I bought a Print and Punch literacy pack from Kreative in Kinder  and I LOVED it so much that I had to have it for math too, but all anyone had was very limited.  I really like that my literacy stations have very predictable elements and thought that this would be a great "staple" in our math stations for the year.  So here it is!  Punch It - Math! A Print and Go Year-long math station/center.  These activities help students practice counting, number identification, addition, subtraction, and composing and decomposing numbers to 20!  It is on sale now in my TPT store!

Sick Puppies

As I sit home tending to a very sick dog, I decided to make use of my down time to create another freebie!  Currently our kinders are working on their teen numbers, making Valentine's a great time for them to continue to practice composing and decomposing teen numbers!  I hope you find this resource helpful!  Click on the image to download, or visit my TPT store.

If you are hankering for a CVC game to add a little Valentine's excitement to your classroom, I also have a CVC game freebie in my TPT store as well!
